I’m so blessed to live in a cottage of a home, where I hear birds chirping loudly outside– in the middle of the day. I love being able to walk outside and pluck herbs and fruits, and exult with the flowers.
Among the roses, I hear Jesus say, “I love you.” And when I look at the trees lining the bike path near home, I know we aren’t meant to live in competition with one another…
Jesus loves nature, too. So did King David. And in our fast-paced, technological world, I think that now, more than ever, being outside is a perfect reminder to slow down… breathe.
“The lions roar for their prey and seek their food from God.” Psalm 104:21
Above is my Chihuahua. She’s not a lion. And God feeds all six tiny pounds of her.
This is how God clothes the grass…
“If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you…” (Matthew 6:30)
Breathe, darling 💛
